Access control that follows your organization
The Erplica access module controls who can see and do what across the platform and every custom module. It uses role-based access control (RBAC): people get permissions through roles, groups and access profiles, not one by one.

What’s inside
Roles and permissions
Define what each role can see and do in every module.
Access profiles
Reusable sets of permissions for typical positions, so new people get the right access at once.
Groups
Departments, teams and locations as the basis for access and for communication.
Assignments
Who holds which role, since when, and who granted it.
Governance
Clear ownership of permissions as the company grows, with every change on record.
Custom modules included
Client-specific features use the same access model from day one.
Why it matters
Permissions granted by hand pile up. After a few years nobody knows who can see what.
Erplica keeps access in one model for the whole platform. People get rights through roles and groups, not one by one, so a new hire, a transfer or an exit changes access in a predictable way. Auditors and managers see the current state and its history.

Questions and answers
What is role-based access control (RBAC)?
RBAC is a way to manage permissions through roles. Instead of granting rights to each person, you define roles such as buyer or shift lead, give each role its permissions and assign people to roles.
Does access control cover custom modules?
Yes. Every custom module is built inside Erplica and uses the same roles, profiles and groups as the rest of the platform.
Can we see who changed a permission and when?
Yes. Changes to roles, profiles and assignments are recorded in the Erplica audit trail.
What happens when someone changes position?
HR records and access live in the same platform, so a change of position and the matching change of access can be handled in one step.
